On July 8, 2019, the California Department of Child Support Services (CA DCSS) ad hoc query requests process changed. The new Office of Research and Data Analytics (RADAR) unit is now responsible for handling all ad hoc query requests from CA DCSS and local child support agencies (LCSAs).
To submit an ad hoc query request, use the RADAR Information Request Form (DCSS 0751), located in the Document Form Management section on California Child Support Central.
RADAR provides a statewide view for decision-making, data analysis, and is responsible for all research and data requests to support all aspects of the program. RADAR works in collaboration with the RADAR Council, which consists of Orange, Sacramento, and Los Angeles County LCSAs, to ensure the local perspective for research and data analysis is included and goals are successfully achieved.
