You asked for it and it’s happening – Customer Connect will unveil its mobile-responsive version with a new look and feel in April! There is also new user-friendly functionality where participants can view and print their own payment history.
The child support self-service customer service platform was underutilized by participants because it couldn’t be viewed easily on mobile devices. A team from the Los Angeles County Child Support Services Department (LA County CSSD) worked with designers and developers from the California Department of Child Support Services (CA DCSS) in a two-week sprint to envision and create the upgraded platform, which adds downloadable payment reports and the option for electronic delivery of ALL forms – those currently used as well as those forthcoming – to the existing suite of services.
The new Customer Connect will be released in late April and addresses only mobile-responsiveness and adds a new look to the current functions – there are no changes to the platform’s integration with the Child Support Enforcement System (CSE) or task creation at this time. Everyone on the team is confident that participants will find the new Customer Connect easier to use, delivering improved service to our customers where they interact online – on their phones!
