Sacramento County 12/13

For this year’s holiday season, Sacramento County DCSS had a toy drive benefiting the Sacramento Children’s Home. The staff collected almost 100 toys and delivered them on Wednesday December 13th. Everyone enjoyed seeing the smiling faces of the children, especially during the holiday season.

Ventura County 12/16

This year, the Ventura DCSS family collected toys to donate to Operation Snowflake, the Ventura County Military Collaborative’s (VCMilC) annual toy drive. Operation Snowflake is a very special event in which VCMilC members and volunteers all come together to help veterans, active military personnel and their families, who may be struggling financially during the holiday season. This year, individuals and families were provided presents, food, gift cards and even a special visit by Santa Claus himself to create a memorable afternoon.

San Joaquin County 12/26

In the spirit of giving, San Joaquin County DCSS was part of the White Gold Clothing Donation, to provide for the homeless and families in need at St. Mary’s Dining Room, which provides meals, health care and other services to the community. Staff members stepped up and in no time were able to drop off a huge box filled with new socks and underwear. San Joaquin County DCSS recognizes the importance of giving back, and plans to continue donating to their community partners throughout the year.
